She scored double platinum success with her second album One In A Million, but the fame and fortune that comes with such a feat isn't enough for R&B/hip-hop vocal star Aaliyah. Her parents, she reveals, have convinced her that college is where she must go, if only for personal fulfillment. Although, she's set for life financially, even bringing in huge bucks as a model for the Tommy Hilfiger clothing line, Aaliyah agrees with her parents. "My career is very important, but so is school," says the gorgeous high school grad, who maintained an A- average throughout her school post grade-school years. "I haven't made any decisions on where I want to go, but some of my choices are Spelman, Vassar, Manhattan School of Music, and Sarah Lawrence. I'm going to investigate it to see if they can offer independent studies, so that I can continue with my singing career."
