Aaliyah Fans began back in 2001 as Forever Aaliyah (www.foreveraaliyah.com) as a on-going tribute project to the late Aaliyah Dana Haughton.
Though with the accountable success Forever Aaliyah gathered the website was suspended. Adam Islaam (check 'Webmaster' section for more information)
was then approached by the previous Aaliyah Fans webmaster to take over the website as her priorities became a larger aspect than maintaining Aaliyah Fans.
Gathering personal experience and his passion for web design, site building and of course Aaliyah he agree'd and quickly began searching for strategies
to improve and successfully re-store Aaliyah Fans.
During the summer of '06 Adam began work on the website by firstly buying the domain www.aaliyah-fans.com in comparision to www.efanguide.com/~aaliyah to provide an easier more professional feel to the website. The host of Aaliyah Fans also changed to Hollywood Fan Sites which offer a speedier, more reliable experience for members who desire creating the best. The new website was opened in august of 2006 to rave vistor commentary. Sadly as Adam became busier with a demanding college schedule Aaliyah Fans yet again succumbed to neglect and maintained open but vacant. Then in January 2008 the website took a turn for the better as a "2008 Rejuvenation" period began. A few weeks before this Adam decided to leave college through a change in career aspects. The "2008 Rejuvenation" promises a re-design that is "more reliable, faster" and a "up-to-date all round Aaliyah treatment." :: Back To Top PROMOTE
